The AIMED project aims to pioneer a groundbreaking mHealth system for infectious disease detection and response. Phase 1 spans 3 years, focusing on assessing the system's impact on early disease detection. Phase 2, a 2-year endeavor, focuses on enhancing response capabilities. Collaborating with Palestine and Jordan's Health Ministries, AIMED will deploy an AI-powered mobile health cloud. This platform will provide timely symptom data, early warning signs, and personalized educational material to at-risk individuals.
Through a study across Jordan and Palestine, AIMED aims to evaluate its effectiveness in early detection and warning. Ultimately, this research promises to equip Arab health authorities with an innovative tool for disease prevention and response, potentially bolstering global pandemic preparedness.
To achieve this, the university seeks to develop a 5-year Strategic Plan in support of a sustainable and social approach to the University's actions, initiatives, and ways forward. In this manner, the sessions have and will continue to advance the planning of a strategic framework through the lens of Sustainable Development.
